Ingredients

  • 2 tsp margarine
  • 250g chicken breast fillet, sliced & skin removed
  • 1 medium onion, peeled and thinly sliced
  • 1 packet Continental Chicken Stockpot
  • 2 small carrots, peeled, and julienned or thinly sliced
  • ½ bunch broccoli, stems trimmed
  • 1 cup green beans, sliced
  • ½ cup frozen peas
  • Chopped parsley to serve
  • Crusty bread to serve

Method

Heat margarine in a saucepan and lightly brown chicken strips together with the onion. Add 2 cups hot water, Chicken Stockpot, carrots, broccoli, green beans and peas. Stirring gently, bring to the boil and simmer gently for 5 minutes. Sprinkle with chopped parsley and serve with crusty bread.
