Scotch Finger Apple Crumble

  • 1 tsp Cinnamon
  • ½ c Brown Sugar
  • 250g pack Arnotts Plain Biscuits, crushed*
  • 125g Butter or Margarine
  • 4 Medium Granny Smith Apples, peeled, cored and thinly sliced


Pre-heat oven to 180°C. Lightly grease an 8-cup ovenproof, microwave-safe dish.

Evenly layer the apple in the prepared dish. Cover with plastic wrap and microwave 5 minutes or until apples are just tender when tested with a skewer.

Meanwhile, cream butter and brown sugar until mixture is fluffy. Mix in crushed biscuits and cinnamon.

Spread the biscuit crumb mixture evenly over the top of the apples.

Bake for 30 minutes or until topping is golden and apples are tender. Serve with cream or ice-cream, if desired.
