Ingredients

  • HIGHLANDER Caramel Sweetened Condensed Milk,380g
  • 3/4 cup thick vanilla custard
  • 1 round unfilled sponge cake, sliced horizontally so you have 2 rounds
  • 1 cup NESTLÉ Caramel BITS, reserving 2 tbsp for garnish
  • 4 medium bananas, sliced
  • 2 cups thickened cream, whipped
  • 2 tbsp toasted coconut

Method

1. Place HIGHLANDER Caramel Sweetened Condensed Milk in a bowl; whisk until smooth. Gently fold in custard.

2. Arrange half the cake over the base of a 2 litre (8-cup) capacity serving dish. Top with half the caramel custard mixture, half the NESTLÉ Caramel BITS, half the banana, top with half the cream. Repeat the layers. Cover. Refrigerate overnight.

3. Top trifle with toasted coconut, and reserved NESTLÉ Caramel BITS. Serve.
