If you’re cooking rice this week have a look at all the great varieties we have available. Gone are the days where you had only white rice as an option! Rice is a great source of energy giving carbohydrates and helps makes meat go further in a meal so is really cost effective. Rice recipes often require a specific type of rice, such as Arborio for risotto, or jasmine rice for Asian food. We’ll have all you need for these dishes and more.

If you’re working on eating more healthy foods then try the nutty flavour of brown rice, or basmati rice, which have lower glycaemic indicator values and therefore help control blood sugar.
